How to apply for a South Korean Visa?

(GUIDE FOR FOREIGNERS LIVING IN VIETNAM)

Currently there are many foreigners living in Vietnam who want to apply for a Korean visa. The condition for foreigners to apply for Korean visa in Vietnam is to have a residence permit for more than 2 years and work permit in Vietnam.

1. FINANCIAL PROOFING

You can prove financial capacity through savings account booklet. Requirements: Minimum deposit: 5000 USD , term: over 3 months, have been sent over 1 month to the date of visa application, do not accept savings account opened at Credit Funds.

You have to prepare:

  • Double-sided copy of the savings book
  • Confirmation of the balance of the original savings (Bilingual version with a bank seal, valid for 2 weeks)

The following applicants are exempt from financial proof procedures:

  • Applicants are employees (office block) of the top 500 Vietnamese enterprises or Korean investment companies according to the list of Korcham office.
  • Applicants with an annual income of more than US $ 8,000 (required to prove through bank account statements), Subjects with international credit cards are included in the list of preferential annual customers of Shinhan bank (Platinum credit card with limit of over VND 100 million)

- Applicants who have graduated from universities in Korea (including colleges)- Applicants with permanent residence rights, applicants who have ever entered OECD countries include: USA, Canada, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, England, Japan, Finland, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia.

2. CAREER DOCUMENTS

- Labour Contract (notarized copy)

- Work Permit (notarized copy)

- Statement of the latest 3-month salary account (bilingual version with bank seal)

- Temporary residence card (notarized copy)

3. OTHER DOCUMENTS

- Original passport - 02 white background, 4 x 6cm size photo

4. PROCESSSING TIME

- 14-16 working days, excluding: Saturdays, Sundays, holidays (if there are no problems with the application)

- In cases the additional documents or interviews are required, the visa issuance time may be longer than the scheduled date. The results will be announced after review by the Embassy.

- If visa applications are rejected by the Embassy we will return passport only to customers within 1 week from the date of notification of results (no return other documents)

5. VISA FEES

- 3 month single entry visa: 150 USD (Excluding translation fee and notarization)

- In case, because of some reason that the customer is not granted an entry visa by the Embassy, ​​the company will refund 40 USD (single visa)

6. GENERAL REQUIREMENT

Customers have to provide round-trip air ticket information after our staff informs that the Korean Embassy has issued visa (before the departure date) to ensure the travel on schedule.
